I have always been interested in photography since my parents gave me my first camera in the 4th grade. Even then, creating an image was more than a snapshot to me. When it was time to make a career choice in college, I had the decision to either choose “science” or “art (photography). I chose science but never lost the love of the art of photography. I did use and have some work published in my science career, but the creative work was always on the back burner. In the last few years, children grown and working part time, I now have had time to focus on my first love..The fine art of photography. It has now become a new and exciting passion in my life that I am fortunate to have the time to explore. It is not always possible to go back and take the path you didn’t take. I am now taking that path and loving it.
